IPRA‘s president Nataša Pavlović Bujas opened the 13th PROACTIVE regional conference, held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina from 23 – ۲۴ May 2024. The conference moto was Acta, non verba! Actions not words is a confirmation that the PR industry is both results driven but also that PR practitioners are starting to redefine terms such as relations, trust and responsibility.
Nataša also held a dynamic and inspiring session entitled Hot topics on hot seats. Everyday PR professionals sit in their own hot seat – so audience members were invited to occupy a hot seat on stage. These participants were then asked to consider questions key to PR today. What are we responsible for as PR professionals now and in the future? How do we rebuild trust and relationships? What is the role of ethics in PR?
According to Dobrila Mocevic, managing director of Prime Communication and one of the conference’s organisers, the event was diverse with women representing over half of the event’s 17 lecturers and facilitators. Prime Communication agency is an IPRA Golden World Awards winner.
